This policy explains what information Spa Fynd (“we,” “us”) collects when you visit the site and how we use it. If anything here is unclear, email hello@spafynd.com.
Scope
Spa Fynd is currently a public content site — articles and a glossary. There's no way to create an account, sign in, or submit content, so we don't collect any account or profile information from visitors. This policy doesn't cover the privacy practices of third-party spas, brands, or booking services we may mention or link to — check their own policies before sharing information with them.
Information we collect
- Technical & usage information — standard web server logs such as IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and timestamps, collected automatically as part of running the site.
- Information you send us directly — if you email us (for example, at hello@spafynd.com), we'll have whatever you include in that message, such as your email address and its contents.
Cookies
The public site doesn't set any cookies for tracking or analytics. We don't currently run a web analytics or advertising platform on Spa Fynd; if that changes, we'll update this section first.
How we use information
- Operate and maintain the site, and diagnose technical issues from server logs.
- Respond to emails you send us.
- Detect, prevent, and respond to abuse, security incidents, and rate-limit violations.
- Comply with legal obligations.
Sharing with third parties
We don't sell your information. We share it only with:
- Infrastructure providers — our hosting, database, and cloud object storage (AWS S3, for article images) providers, who process data on our behalf to run the site.
- Legal authorities — where required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Spa Fynd or our users.
Data retention
Server logs are retained only as long as needed for security and operational purposes. Emails you send us are kept for as long as reasonably necessary to handle your inquiry and for our records.
Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect the site and its infrastructure, including encryption in transit (HTTPS). No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
Children's privacy
Spa Fynd is not directed at children and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Spa Fynd evolves — for example, when Phase 2 introduces spa listings, ratings, and community accounts. We'll update the “last updated” date above whenever we do.
